The scenario , a bunch of people with lowered income in a cafeteria well re known for serving cold breakfast. The TV is screaming in the background , with some horrid news repeating itself over and over again .
B : Did you know the world is going to end in 2012?
ME : Hmmmm , really ? How does it end ?
R: Not quite sure about that , but that's what they say .Well, at least we would not have to come to work !! (A satisfied smile on her face)
B : As long as we all evaporate , I think I am okay .I mean no body is going to miss us if we all die right ?
ME: Are you absolutely certain about this ???
Now if you were living in blissfully happy oblivion , like I was , read this :)
Doomsday
I wonder , why they make prophecies without sound proof , now if it was absolutely certain that the world was going to end , I would be okay , really !! I mean I would take all of my dad's money , go to Europe and ball the next two years away . . . But if the world doesn't end in the stipulated time , I am going to have a very annoyed dad .
And that is my dilemma . One of the voices in my head (lets call it sanity ) says,in a very incredulous voice - "the world is not going to end ,that is rubbish !!!!"
And another very shrill voice ( I am going to call her boolahoowoo ), says ,"But what if it does ? and what if I never get to live the European dream , lets borrow from the mafia and buy a palace in Venice , an orchard in Switz , a shopping mall in Paris and a mountain in the Himalayas . . ."
Help me out here , will ya ?? Please !! . . .

if I knew for sure the world would end tonight I would finish my daily "Honey Do's" so my wife wouldn't be pissed at me in the next world. As of right now I am putting them off until tomorrow.
